You should hike Wilson’s Falls trail, with trailhead access at the end of Wilson’s Falls Rd, it is easy to get to with great views. Wilson Falls is the wildest and most scenic falls on the North Branch of the Muskoka River. The total trail length is 3.7 km and is considered a moderate difficulty because of its length.
Located just to the north of the Downtown area off of River Road, Wilson’s Falls has a great walking trail that provides a spectacular view of the falls and forest. A picnic area is also available. Click Here for the trail map.
Wilson’s Falls is also a scenic winter hiking destination. This trail follows the Muskoka River and leads to the falls, where you’ll find the river frozen into dazzling, icy formations.
